One Week Away! Important PantherHacks Updates

Hey Everyone!

The PantherHacks team and I cannot believe that it is only a week away from the hackathon. We can't wait to see all of you, and your creations, at Sandburg Hall next Saturday the 28th! This e-mail contains some important updates.

Getting to PantherHacks

There are many ways to get to the hackathon next week Saturday. All information about getting to PantherHacks can be found at http://pantherhacks.org/gettingthere.html, including when and where to go, parking, bus routes, etc.

Rules and Safety

Before the big event, we would live everyone to review the rules, located at http://pantherhacks-2015.challengepost.com/rules. In particular, we are not allowing flammable or hazerdous materials and 'creative' messes, along with extremely loud noises.

We are asking that everyone who attends sign a liability and photo release waiver, located at http://pantherhacks.org/waiver.pdf . If you would like to speed up the check in process, you can print, sign, and bring the form with you to PantherHacks.

What to Bring

You must bring all of the materials you need to complete your innovation with you, including laptops. Internet and GitHub private repos will be provided. There is no reimbursement for any expenses, including travel.

Our food menu tentatively includes coffee, bagels, and fruit for breakfast, tacos or sandwiches for lunch, and a more formal plated dinner that our caterer's chefs are still working on. If you have dietary concerns or may need more nourishment, you are welcome to bring a bag lunch or dinner along with you and/or snacks for the day.

To Close

Please look over the website again, as changes have been posted, and start a new Discussion in ChallengePost for any questions or concerns. We would like to thank you all for registering to attend PantherHacks 2015 at UW-Milwaukee and for helping to make this event a success. We'll see you next Saturday morning!
